A little about us…

Hello, I’m Keith Grant. Thanks for your interest in our little butcher shop tucked away in beautiful Wicklow!

Aisling (my fiancée) and I established Keith Grant Master Butchers in 2017 and we haven’t looked back since. We are located in the picturesque village in Roundwood, Co. Wicklow.

I’m absolutely passionate about Irish meat and achieving high standards within our industry. We pride ourselves on the quality meat we select to sell and our customer service. When you walk into our shop you’ll always receive a warm welcome and a big smile. Thanks to the interwebs we are now delivering right across the Republic of Ireland so you can enjoy meat from Keith Grant Master Butchers wherever you are. Thank you for supporting our small Irish local business.

About Keith Grant

John and Sally McKennas' Guides

ALL THE BEST PLACES TO EAT, SHOP AND STAY IN IRELAND. A LOCAL GUIDE TO LOCAL PLACES.

‘‘Keith Grant is a player. As a master butcher, he can walk the walk. He served his time as an apprentice with the gifted Farrelly Brothers of Delgany, and he learnt well from those maestros of meat. He understands the value of tradition, and the fact that the local Irish butcher’s shop is not just one of the glories of Ireland’s food culture, it is also a foundational cornerstone of every Irish community, and has been for decades.
So, Mr Grant understands his craft, and his meat, and he understands his role as the vital intermediary between the good farmer, and the hungry customer. He knows how to select, and he knows how to sell.
But Keith takes the butchery business further, because he is one of the finest food communicators and commentators working today in Ireland. He can walk the walk, and he sure can talk the talk. His videos and social media are fun, snappy, self-deprecating, and original, and they introduce us both to Mr Grant himself, and to his business and his team. He knows that commonplace things are universal things, situations and happenings we can all relate to. So, he chats away and, in doing so, he has made himself a player, and he has made his shop in Roundwood a don’t-miss destination for all food lovers.’’
